Allan of Glasgow the Salmon  "Spinet" thread line casting reel  in very fine original condition,  bronze  body with exposed bronze gear, alloy spool with makers details and patent number 262706, bronze/brass winding arm with ebonite handle, brass tension regulator to centre of spool,  reel retaining most of the black japanned finish to bronze,  manual half bail arm, reel circa 1928

FSM-938 A fine very rarely seen Geo.F.Ball's the F.R.E.E.F.L.O.W fixed spool threadline fishing reel with  trigger bail arm reel,  bail arm opened with trigger under foot that enables you to open bail arm and cast at same time, ,, shaped  composition handle showing some light crazing, gold  hamerite finish paint work very lightly worn on spool edge, , reel made by Geo Ball of Wolverhampton, England,  in fine lightly used condition, good strong bail arm spring, a classic not often seen reel for fisher or collector , reel working fine. circa 1950's,
