AG-3009 Genuine grey agate guide rings for Hardy "St George" fly reels, after many years of searching I have at last sourced a supply of the real thing, made to the original Hardy specification they will fit all St George reels, (except 2.9/16), they will need to be fitted into the old nickel silver casting by Hardy or someone with engineering background, they will also fit 3.7/8" Perfect fly reels and possibly the 3.5/8"

AG-3016 5.1/2" x 3.1/2" x 1.1/4" deep, Hardy the "Halford Dry Fly Box No-2, in fine original condition,  one side having   15 compartments , and the other having 12 compartments  all  with celluloid lids with names of flies in gold lettering , this according to Hardy was very handy and educational, as they gave a Halford list of flies in their catalogues that would complement the Halford No-2 box, there are a lot of flies in box but more modern , this black Japanned box having the Hardy oval plaque to lid. box in original used condition, rare box to find, circa 1915

12" un-named genuine mid Victorian Fruitwood Bank Runner with 5 incised rings to shaft,  with  2.1/2" x 2"  wood spool to top with 2 incised rings to side of spool ,used to set a bait in the water  primarily for Pike fishing, now illegal, push the runner into bank, bait the hook, possibly with a frog (barbaric) and throw out  to catch the Pike and go home for a beer, hopefully pull a fish out in the morning, very rare to find, circa 1910 , this came out of an old country house attic. possibly dating around 1910

AG-3044 Hardy the "Wanless" Fly Controller, designed by Alexander Wanless, who designed the range of spinning rods for Hardy, this fly controller  made of wood with  spring  wire coil each end, was to help cast a fly with a spinning rod  acting  like a modern bubble float, , Hardy details stamped to wood, not often seen or understood. a super little gadget, circa 1940

AG-3045 6" Nickel and Stainless steel the "PUMA"  Anglers Knife , Scales and Priest, in one, in very fine condition, this is a rarely seen anglers tool,  the priest end is a solid ball and the blade is marked in  Kilo's, the scales goes up from 1/4kg to 2.1/2 KG,  complete with leather  balance thong, you hold thong up and hang fish along blade to find the weight, basically for trout and Sea Trout, but the Priest is a heavy one that will dispatch any Salmon, circa 1950
